Art Wear {one}

Image
One should either be a work of art,  or wear a work of art.  ~Oscar Wilde My crafty middle child is determined to make her Christmas gifts--well, at least, some of them.  She couldn't do as much as she wanted to (due to her busy schedule).  I'm so proud of her because she didn't stress out at all, and truly enjoyed the process of making and giving. Here's a ruffled necklace she made out from silk fabric that I found at no cost.  Cut a long piece to fold lengthwise. Iron - one of a seamstress' best friends All you need is a chain to finish the necklace. We liked the frays so we left most of it on.  It added some character. Very simple but can add some spice to a plain tee or dress.  For a complete tutorial, go to  Happy Together ,  and while you're there, check out her other fun projects.  I wish I have plenty of time to make some of her creations.
